For members coming to work day, here are some helpful items to bring with you:
> Gloves
> Rakes
> Shovels
> Garden hoes
> Wheelbarrow
> Assorted hand tools always come in handy for putting things back together and tightening fasteners on chairs & tables.
> If someone can bring a vacuum cleaner or a Shop Vac it would be helpful.
John Reidy will bring his gas powered pressure washer along with 100-150 feet of hose and deck washing attachment.
Workday 10 May 2025 - Task list
Yard area:
- · Move old timbers from the dingy area to the construction dumpster.
- · Move the branches, twigs and raking’s from behind the storage shed to the dumpster.
- · Load the old tires on the pickup for delivery to the Watertown recycling
- · Install the two AL ladders, one at the main dock and one at the dingy lift
- · Install the picnic tables and rinse them off
- · Install the lawn chairs and rinse them off
- · Move table and chairs to the Bar Patio
- · Install the Sail School swim ramp
- · Hang sign at 123/Cornell Road, and wooden sign on building
Parking area and sidewalks:
- · Clean up the gravel pushed onto the grass near the raised bed; place in sink hole finish filling in the sink hole with available gravel
- · With soil from near the propane tank fill in the snowplow lawn damage and reseed. (seed available)
- · Pressure-wash the sidewalk near the main entrance and sunroom. There will be one gas powered pressure washer on site. If someone can bring a second pressure washer it will help.
- · Time allowing pressure wash the wood deck near the Junior Club House
Clubhouse:
- · Remove the folding chairs and move the transporter outside then lubricate the wheels. Removing all excess oil. Restack folding chairs on transporter.
- · Replace the two emergence (power out) lights batteries, tools and batteries are on site
- · Reinstall ceiling in trophy case area. All material and tools are on site.
- · Dust furniture and vacuum carpet an additional vacuum would be helpful
